The BD2010 Bomb Disposal Suit is up-graded product of BD2009 Bomb Disposla Suit. The BD2010 Bomb Disposal Suit is a field-configurable platform, providing the next generaion of modular protection and oeprational flexibility for EOD/IEDD in CBRNE missions.
The BD2010 bomb disposal suit provides not only an outstanding degree of balanced protection against overpressure and fragmentation, but also the CB blast protection during EOD/IEDD operations involving agent contaminants.
Compared with BD 2009, BD2010 bomb disposal suit's additional features are:
- Compatible with optional chemical protective undergarment for oeprational versatility
- Retractable groin plate for easier kneeling
- Hand protection system - fire retardant gloves and ballistic hand covers. Inclusion of an intergrated groin protector, to provide doulbe protection
- Includes antiskid, oil and heat resistant boot covers and knee covers
- Includes insulated pouch for backpack hydration system
- Higher protection level of the armored blast plates
- Outcover made by fire retardant Nomex IIIA fabric
- Added two-way wireless communication system, can be switched freely between wire communication and wireless communication
- Helmet covered by fire retardant Nomex IIIA fabric, standard equipped with NBC canister
- Battery life enhanced, equipped with battery status indicator
- Various tool holders and pouches which are easy to access
